Clay has always been an important part of Georgias’ creative process and on leaving a carear in education, she set up a studio at home near Margate in Kent. After lots of experiments in functional and none functional ceramics, she decided to design birdfeeders to replace the plastic and wire ones in her garden and started selling them under the name ‘Little Egret Pottery’. Bird feeders present Georgia with the perfect opportunity for exploring form, function, and a love of nature. Each new design is tested by an eager flock of birds in her garden.
