Asta is from Germany and her love of ceramics began when she was given a book on the history of pottery when still in primary school. She has a Bachelors degree in philosophy and psychology, and went on to study interior design, decoration and visual arts. She worked as an interior designer for over 15 years whilst raising her two children. For the past two years Asta has focussed on her pottery and spends all her spare time exploring and increasing her pottery knowledge.
