Judy creates ceramics in black clay with each piece being handmade and different in form and decoration. She shapes her designs from slabs of soft clay by hand, sparingly using bamboo and wood tools. Judy decorates with abstract designs applied using natural sponges, with motifs inspired by art and textiles from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
