Wheel Throwing - Intermediate Course (6 weeks, once/week)

This course is designed to build your confidence and take you to the next level of throwing. You will perfect your throwing technique, learn to make evenly thrown pieces, make and fit lids, knobs and handles, create narrow necks on bottle pots, and make a large pot from two thrown pieces. You will be guided by an experienced potter to hone your skills over a 6-week period.

You will need to have attended a the 6-week Development Course prior to booking onto this course. If you have pottery experience gained elsewhere, give us a call to discuss this and we can make a decision as to which course is right for you.

Worried you cannot attend one of the sessions due to a pre-booked engagement or a last minute emergency? Don't worry, we offer one free "Course Catch Up 1-2-1" for those who can't make one class. A one-hour 1-2-1 to make sure you don't miss out on any learning.

This course is built for a small group of students with recent and adequate pottery experience. There will be a strong emphasis on 1 to 1 tuition to help you achieve successful results within the scope provided.
