Mini Wheel Tasters and Demos at the "In Your Element Wellness Festival"

At Keeeps' high street store in Marlow on Saturday 13^th May 2023, in partnership with the “In Your Element Wellness Festival”, we bring you: 

• Morning wheel throwing demonstrations in store from 9.30am to 11.30am from one of our lovely Keeeps tutors, Bobbie Butter, for those who wish to watch and get a sense of this enchanting age-old skill.
• In the afternoon, for ‘In Your Element Wellness Festival’ ticket holders, we have free Mini Wheel Taster spaces for those who want to try their hand at wheel throwing. Each slot is 10 minutes long and you will be guided and supported by our experienced and friendly tutor in a class of only 2 people. This will give you a great introduction to how the clay feels on the wheel and how to centre the clay. If you have been meaning to try this calming hobby, this is a fantastic place to start! There are 30 spaces available between 12.30pm and 4.30pm, so be sure to book your slot now! Please note, before you book your slot, you will need to buy a Festival Ticket, which you can buy here.

Immerse yourself in the mindful practise that is pottery. Playing with clay is a totally meditative process since you are working with both hands at the same time. It requires full creative attention and no distraction as you craft the mud on the moving wheel. Come to Keeeps on Saturday 13th May to watch and try this amazing experience.
