Wheel Throwing Taster Class for Kids & Teens

This one and a half hour beginner's throwing class for pre-teen/teens will give a fantastic introduction into this mesmerising technique, practising solely on the potter's wheel.

They spend the whole class on the wheel with an experienced tutor learning how the clay behaves and the skills they need to create their own thrown pieces. This is a great next step for kids who have attended the Keeeps Clay Taster for Kids/Teens and loved their go on the wheel enough to explore and practise this further. Or for older kids who are keen to get straight on the wheel.

Their work will be fired by the Keeeps team and can either be collected or posted to you 4-6 weeks later.

Class Length 1.5 hours
Age Group 10 years - 17 years
Method Taught   Wheel throwing
Maximum class size 6
Experience required   We would recommend they attend a Clay Taster for Kids/Teens first to check they enjoy throwing on the wheel, but this is not essential if they are really keen to just try the wheel.
